Zach’s Week 9 Power Rankings Are Coming In As Hot As The Ravens Versus San Diego

Hot damn the Ravens are on fire after a 1 game win streak! Playoff bound baby. Book it. So are they back in the top 20 teams in the league? Here’s how I’m lining the 32 up this week.

1. New England Patriots 7-0 (+0 from last week)- Anyone who denies the Patriots sit at number 1 is Stevie Wonder.

2. Cincinnati Bengals 7-0 (+1)- Is Andy Dalton considered a clutch quarterback after a big win in Pittsburgh?

3. Denver Broncos 7-0 (+2)- I’m as shocked as anyone that the Broncos are still undefeated, but their defense is the clear cut best in football.

4. Green Bay Packers 6-1 (-2)- Aaron Rodgers threw for 77 yards in a full football game. Aaron Rodgers. 77.

5. Carolina Panthers 7-0 (-1)- What’s the difference between the Panthers and the Ravens? Defense.

6. Arizona Cardinals 6-2 (+0)- The Cards struggled early, almost making me look smart for my lock of the week, and then the Browns decided to be the Browns.

7. Minnesota Vikings 5-2 (+2)– Stefon Diggs for president.

8. Seattle Seahawks 4-4 (+3)- The Seahawks are back in the top ten, but that offense should have “12’s” worried.

9. St. Louis Rams 4-3 (+4)- The Rams will go as far as Todd Gurley can take them. Which looks like it could be pretty far.

10. Oakland Raiders 4-3 (+6)- Back to back blow out wins for the Raiders have them in the top 10, and in playoff position currently.

11. Atlanta Falcons 6-2 (-3)- The Falcons are falling back down to earth fast.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers 4-4 (-2)- The Steelers finally got their quarterback back, and the best running back in football goes down for the year. I feel so sorry for them….. (but I actually feel sorry for my fantasy team).

13. New York Jets 4-3 (-7)- Geno Smith isn’t taking this team to the playoffs.

14. New Orleans Saints 4-4 (+5)- The Saints barely squeezed out a win after throwing 7 touchdowns. The NFL is unreal today.

15. New York Giants 4-4 (-3)- The Giants lost after throwing 6 touchdowns. The NFL is unreal today.

16. Buffalo Bills 3-4 (+2)- Getting back Tyrod Taylor, Sammy Watkins, and Karlos Williams will help this offense be formidable again.

17. Kansas City Chiefs 3-5 (+6)- The Chiefs have back to back wins, ironically without Jamal Charles.

18. Indianapolis Colts 3-5 (-1)- The Colts are 1-5 with Andrew Luck, and 2-0 with Matthew Hasselbeck. Let that one sink in.

19. Philadelphia Eagles 3-4 (-5)- Maybe Chip Kelly can right the ship after the bye. Unless he gets traded to the Titans.

20. Miami Dolphins 3-4 (-5)- The tight end coach met his match in New England.

21. Baltimore Ravens 2-5 (+5)- With a bye week and an easy second half schedule, the Ravens are only 2.5 games out of the playoffs.

22. San Diego Chargers 2-6 (+0)- Losing Keenan Allen is a dagger in an already lost season.

23. Washington Redskins 3-4 (-3)- The soon-to-be 3-5 Redskins will be at the hands of the Patriots in Gillette on Sunday.

24. Dallas Cowboys 2-5 (-2)– Tony Romo is gonna have a tough hole to dig this team out of.

25. Houston Texans 3-5 (+4)- The Texans are tied for the AFC South lead. What a joke.

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3-4 (+4)- This team is awful. I have no clue how they’ve beaten three teams.

27. Jacksonville Jaguars 2-5 (+1)- The Ravens will see the amount of talent on the offensive side of the ball for the Jags in two weeks, and I think people will be surprised.

28. Cleveland Browns 2-6 (-3)- Blowing a big lead at home is not a way to climb up the power rankings.

29. Chicago Bears 2-5 (-5)- The Bears are back to who we thought they were.

30. Detroit Lions 1-7 (+1)- A 35 point loss brought them up in the power rankings only because of the 49ers woes.

31. San Francisco 49ers 2-6 (-4)- Blaine Gabbert taking this team to the promise land?

32. Tennessee Titans 1-6 (+0)- The Titans fired their coach this week, and are an absolute mess.
