Zach’s Week 7 Power Rankings Are In, And It’s Possible The Ravens Are The Worst Team In The League

Since I’ve started doing these power rankings at the beginning of this season, I’ve realized one big thing, and that’s how bad 90% of the NFL is. Each week I struggle to find teams that are worthy of being in the top 10. I keep thinking, there’s no way this team is a top ten team in the NFL. But there’s no one else to put in front of them, because so much of the NFL is mediocre. But the NFL wanted parody, and that’s what they got. A bunch of average to below average team.

Right now I can look at 3 teams and call them elite, and four behind them that I think are good. Other than that, this league is not impressive.

Anyway, here we go..

1. Green Bay Packers 6-0 (+0 from last week)- The Packers continue to impress, and continue to further distance themselves from the rest of the league.

2. New England Patriots 5-0 (+0)- The Patriots got the win in Indy, but honestly it was less than impressive. If it weren’t for the worst play in the history of football this game might have gone to the Colts.

3. Cincinnati Bengals 5-0 (+0)- I’m all in on the legitimacy of the Bengals this year. Elite team.

4. Carolina Panthers 5-0 (+3)– The Panthers proved themselves worthy with a tough road win in Seattle.

5. Denver Broncos 6-0 (+1)- I have no idea how this team has stayed undefeated, but despite Peyton’s worst year since his rookie campaign, they have.

6. Arizona Cardinals 4-2 (-2)- The Cards really disappointed me this week losing to Vick and Landry Jones. Once in the elite category, the Cardinals have taken a large step back.

7. Atlanta Falcons 5-1 (-2)- The Falcons are no longer undefeated, but Devonta Freeman is running for his life.

8. New York Jets 4-1 (+5)- Looking back at this offseason, I’d give the house to get Brandon Marshall.

9. Pittsburgh Steelers 4-2 (+3)- The Steelers’ third string quarterback made the Cardinals’ defense look average.

10. Philadelphia Eagles 3-3 (+4)- The Eagles may have turned their season around as they sit in first place in their piss poor division.

11. Indianapolis Colts 3-3 (-2)- Best punt fake of all time. They never saw it coming.

12. New York Giants 3-3 (-2)- Road division wins in prime time are tough, but the Giants’ offense sure looked like a different one than we’ve seen recently.

13. Minnesota Vikings 3-2 (+4)- Stefon Diggs for MVP.

14. Seattle Seahawks 2-4 (-6)- If the Seahawks start blowing games at home, they can kiss the playoffs goodbye.

15. Dallas Cowboys 2-3 (+4)- Now that the Cowboys have Brandon Weeden out of there, and Dez Bryant approaching his return, things should turn around for them.

16. San Diego Chargers 2-4 (-1)- There was a chance the Chargers could get a season changing win, but of course they blew it in the end.

17. Buffalo Bills 3-3 (-6)- EJ Manuel won’t get this team to the playoffs.

18. St. Louis Rams 2-3 (-2)- Todd Gurley being healthy should make a big difference for this worthless offense.

19. Miami Dolphins 2-3 (+12)– I’ll give the Dolphins the benefit of the doubt with their new coach until they prove otherwise.

20. Oakland Raiders 2-3 (+3)- The Raiders’ bye week should help them figure things out with their young offense.

21. San Francisco 49ers 2-4 (+7)- Their wide receivers looked great against the Ravens, but who hasn’t?

22. New Orleans Saints 2-4 (+4)- The Saints became the first team to beat the Falcons this year, and they did it in impressive fashion.

23. Chicago Bears 2-4 (-1)- Despite a loss, the Bears and Cutler are trending in the right direction playing competitive games.

24. Washington Redskins 2-4 (-4)- Hearing Jay Gruden spit excuse after excuse for Kirk Cousins was hilarious.

25. Cleveland Browns 2-4 (-7)- After taking the Broncos to OT, the Browns can’t be considered a doormat.

26. Houston Texans 2-4 (+3)- DeAndre Hopkins is the real deal.

27. Detroit Lions 1-5 (+5)- I wanted so bad to have an 0-16 season.

28. Baltimore Ravens 1-5 (-4)- Not much farther to go down the list here.

29. Kansas City Chiefs 1-5 (-8)- Who’s more disappointing, the Chiefs or Ravens?

30. Tennessee Titans 1-4 (-3)- Week 1 Mariota was fire though…

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2-3 (-6)- The fact that the Bucs have won two games in still unbelievable to me.

32. Jacksonville Jaguars 1-5 (-2)- Hate seeing the Jags back at 32, but there’s really no argument otherwise.
