Well, it’s officially safe to give up on the Ravens having any shot at the postseason, much less a championship. But it’s only approaching week 6 in the NFL, and there is great football being played around the league. Here’s how I’m ranking the NFL teams from 1-32 in this week’s power rankings.

1. Green Bay Packers 5-0 (+1 from last week)- I’ve officially been sold on the Packers as the number one team in the NFL. Even when Aaron Rodgers wasn’t at his best this week, the team got a huge win.

2. New England Patriots 4-0 (-1)- No one’s happier than me to not have to say I think they’re the best in the NFL. They’re just not quite as complete a team as the Pack.

3. Cincinnati Bengals 5-0 (+0)- The Bengals might be in the Super Bowl this year and that’s not an exaggeration. They’re not far off of the top two teams.

4. Arizona Cardinals 4-1 (+0)- The fact that people are STILL overlooking the Cardinals as a top 4 team is a joke.

5. Atlanta Falcons 5-0 (+2)- Looks like Dan Quinn is really making an impact down there.

6. Denver Broncos 5-0 (-1)- The Broncos keep winning, but something just doesn’t look right. I’m expecting a tailspin when the weather gets cold.

7. Carolina Panthers 4-0 (+1)- The Panthers will finally have a tough test this week against Seattle.

8. Seattle Seahawks 2-3 (-2)- Losing to the Bengals on the road in overtime shouldn’t drop you that much. But we;re not used to seeing the Seahawks D give up that many points late.

9. Indianapolis Colts 3-2 (+0)- The fact that Matt Hasselbeck has won back to back games is mind boggling.

10. New York Giants 3-2 (+7)- I’m officially buying into the Giants. Eli’s playing at an almost elite level.

11. Buffalo Bills 3-2 (+3)- News came out today that Tyrod might be out a few weeks will probably drop the Bills down next week, but for now, they’re just outside the top 10.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers 3-2 (-2)- Until Roethlisberger is back, this team is bad. Michael Vick is absolutely terrible.

13. New York Jets 3-1 (-1)- The bye week apparently hurt the Jets..

14. Philadelphia Eagles 2-3 (+7)- The Eagles fluctuate by at least 5 every week.

15. San Diego Chargers 2-3 (+0)- This is such a classic Chargers’ season.

16. St. Louis Rams 2-3 (-5)- No shame in losing to the Packers, but gotta keep it closer than that.

17. Minnesota Vikings 2-2 (-1)- I just can’t take the Vikings as a serious contender, basically ever.

18. Cleveland Browns 2-3 (+9)- Beating the Ravens isn’t that impressive, but Josh McCown just became a sure fire first ballot Hall of Famer..

19. Dallas Cowboys 2-3 (-6)- Brandon Weeden is BAD.

20. Washington Redskins 2-3 (+2)- Such a classic Redskins way to lose a game.

21. Kansas City Chiefs 1-4 (-2)- What a disappointing season for what should have been an AFC West title contender.

22. Chicago Bears 2-3 (+4)- Smokin Jay is getting this team HOT.

23. Oakland Raiders 2-3 (-3)- Potential still needs to be fully realized before the Raiders can be a contender.

24. Baltimore Ravens 1-4 (-6)- But they might be the worst team in the NFL.

25. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2-3 (+6)- I can’t believe the Bucs made it up to 25 this year.

26. New Orleans Saints 1-4 (-3)- They need to scrap this whole team and start over. Time to draft their next franchise QB with their top 10 pick.

27. Tennessee Titans 1-4 (-3)- Hung in there with the Bills, but the Titans haven’t won since beating the Bucs week one.

28. San Francisco 49ers 1-4 (+4)- The 9ers offense finally put up some points.

29. Houston Texans 1-4 (+0)- There’s no way the Texans should be this bad. I’d kill to have DeAndre Hopkins on the Ravens.

30. Jacksonville Jaguars 1-4 (-2)- Blake Bortles actually might work out for the Jags.

31. Miami Dolphins 1-3 (-1)- We’ll see if the Dolphins will be any less of a mess after their bye.

32. Detroit Lions 0-5 (-7)- I’m calling an 0-16 season right now. You heard it here first.
