As everybody already knows, notorious troll Skip Bayless left ESPN this summer to begin working with FS1, who is clearly hiring anybody who will give them ratings, no matter how horrible they are at their job. (I like Colin Cowherd, but the guy is a ratings whore).
Troy Aikman, who has been employed by Fox for 15 years, was recently asked in an interview with Sports Illustrated about his new colleague.
“To say I’m disappointed in the hiring of Skip Bayless would be an enormous understatement. Clearly, [Fox Sports president of national networks] Jamie Horowitz and I have a difference of opinion when it comes to building a successful organization. I believe success is achieved by acquiring and developing talented, respected and credible individuals, none of which applies to Skip Bayless.”
Boom, fucking KILLED him. I don’t particularly like Aikman as an analyst, although I respect him, but I like Skip Bayless even less at doing any aspect of his job, so I’m Team Aikman here, 100 times out of 100.
This was definitely not the first time a coworker hasn’t spoken so kindly of Skippy.
