‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5’ Seems To Have A Slight Problem With Glitches

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 was released today, and judging by this lowlight reel, it looks like it wasn’t quite ready to hit stores. This video was apparently made from only ONE HOUR of playing, which has me worried that this highly anticipated game is going to be a disaster. But hey, maybe all these crazy glitches will add some fun twists to the game? One of my favorite memories from playing the Tony Hawk games over the years was the time I got stuck in a wall like 15 years ago. While playing the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater on my trusty Dreamcast, I was skating as Mr. Christ Air himself, Rune Glifberg. I somehow got stuck mid-air in a wall and did trick after trick for like 20 minutes until I finally landed safely on the ground. This competitive advantage allowed me to rack up over a billion points and rewrite the record books like my name was Barry Lamar Bonds. The only thing that put a damper on this experience was that the music shut off while I was defying the laws of physics. I could’ve really used a couple bangers to help pass the time.
