This Guy Is Going To Jail For Arm Sniffing

A 425-pound man has been sentenced to 32  months in jail after pleading guilty to grabbing a 10-year-old boy and sniffing  his arm.Victor Joseph Espinoza, 56, who has a  previous conviction as a gang member, struck a deal for past charges of street  terrorism and gang activity to be dismissed if he pleaded guilty to the false  imprisonment charge.Espinoza, of Santa Ana, California,  approached the boy and his 19-year-old cousin on October 4, 2012, and asked the  10-year-old if he’d like to see his gang tattoo.When the boy stopped, Espinoza grabbed the  youngster’s arm and sniffed it, according to prosecutors.The boy managed to escape Espinoza’s grip and  his cousin yelled at the  obese man before he and the boy ran away.Santa Ana police say the unidentified  would-be victim was walking to soccer  practice with his 19-year-old cousin when  they came across Espinoza.The coach tracked down Espinoza and a chase  ensued. Espinoza attempted to run, but was tackled to the ground by the coach  before escaping and lumbering away.A police helicopter spotted him trying to  hide in a residential backyard behind a tree. The questions that arise from this story are endless… How is this guy running through the neighborhood evading cops? Not to mention the fact that  he was able to scurry away behind a tree after being tackled…Granted he probably had weird intentions, but this all stemmed from a harmless arm sniff. Also, I’m surprised to hear the new opener is asking to show off your gang tats…
