The excuses we come up with that prevent us from doing the things we want to do, basically suck. Dan Mancia is nearly 100% blind, and he not only skateboards better than I can walk, but he falls gracefully to boot.
Daniel Mancina is a 29-year-old skateboarder, but he’s not your typical skateboarder. Mancina has an eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa, which is a hereditary degenerative disease that slowly deteriorates your vision from the outside in. Mancia uses his white cane and a small device tucked away in the box he built that makes a constant beeping noise in order to skate( Mancia listens for the beep in order to locate the grind box or ramp.)
At this point, it’s just bragging. C’mon, Dan.
