If you are unfamiliar with The Bridge, this concert is a perfect opportunity to get acquainted with their unique performance and style. The band consists of Cris Jacobs on guitar and vocals, Kenny Liner on mandolin and vocals, Dave Markowitz on bass guitar and vocals, Patrick Rainey on the saxophone, Mike Gambone on drums, and Mark Brown on keyboards. Although they are labeled as a jam band, they offer a few special twists that separate their sound from anyone else. In their roots, they balance expertise in musical styles that include folk, bluegrass, funk, rock, and blues. Their somewhat untraditional lineup and merging of the aforementioned musical mastery is what really makes their line performance something you have never seen or heard before. If you are lucky, you may even see Kenny Liner bust out his incredible beat boxing skills. Truly, this show is not to be missed, from those that have known The Bridge from the beginning to those that have never seen them. Anything is fair game when it comes to The Bridge and Baltimore!
