Suggs Runs His Big Mouth…And We Love It

Terrell Suggs is on a roll.  If winning a Super Bowl means you have a license to talk unlimited smack, our beloved T-Sizzle is taking full advantage of  this Lombardi backed shit -talking license.  Suggs would probably verbally jab at his rivals anyway, but the Ravens recent championship has made him quite the big mouth.  First he punked 49er tackle Anthony Davis by confirming that Davis was one of the “fake tough guys” that Cary Williams refered to after the Super Bowl.  Davis responded to Suggs by calling him a “loser”, which is pretty interesting considering the first time they met on the field two years ago, Suggs abused Anthony for three sacks and the Ravens beat the Niners in the first “Harbowl”.

The second time they met was in the Super Bowl.  We all know how that turned out.

Suggs 2 Davis 0.

This brings us to Suggs’ latest verbal jab at the asshole Patriots.  Suggs just states the truth.  That everyone hates them.

Says Suggs:

“The NFL is not very big,” Suggs said on WEEI. “You think we don’t talk to guys that have played for the New England Patriots, that have been on the New England Patriots that have been like, ‘Oh, it’s been like this.’

“It ain’t just me. Why did Bart Scott say the same thing? You think it’s just us? You think it’s just got something to do with us? No. This is because we have inside information. We know.”

He told everyone after the AFC Championship that the Patriots were “arrogant” which, of course, they are.  He stood by these statements too:

“Do I apologize for what I said? No. Do I mean what I said? Yeah,” Suggs said. “Could I have worded it a little better? Probably. But the fact of the matter is you can’t really consider it a rivalry because you have a few more championships than we do, but this has been steaming for a while.”

Suggs continued by telling everyone what they already know, Tom Brady gets special treatment and is a coddled Golden Boy:

“Years before, I hit Drew Brees and I accidentally tore his knee up. No rule was made,” Suggs recalled. “Of all the quarterbacks in the NFL who got their knees blown out when they got hit — Carson Palmer got his knee blown out — but then one guy got hit and changed the whole rule for the NFL?”

Personally, I love this shit.  It pisses off Patriot fans because it’s true.  It also pisses them off because in reiterates another thing that everybody else knows:  unlike the rest of the AFC the Ravens aren’t intimidated by the Patriots because the Ravens know they are the better team.  They don’t think it, they know it. Two of the three times that the teams have met in the playoffs, the Ravens have blasted the Pats.  The time Baltimore lost was just a fluke.  We know it and they know it. So keep talking Sizzle, you only speak the truth.
