Some Moron Lost A $1 Million Winning Lottery Ticket

An unnamed man from Rosemead, Ca. missed out on a $1,098,624 payday after losing his lottery ticket. If that’s not infuriating enough, this slapdick didn’t even know he was a winner until he saw his dumb mug on local news. With the 180-day deadline to claim the prize approaching, the California Lottery released security footage of the man believed to have the winning ticket to local news channels. It was then that our man knew he would be a $1 million richer if he could just locate his ticket by 5 o’clock yesterday. He couldn’t find it, so instead of that money being used to re-enact the “Big Pimpin'” music video, it’s been donated to California public schools. It’s inexplicable to me that someone would buy a lottery ticket and not watch the drawing that night. It’s like closing your eyes while the roulette ball is spinning. Where’s the rush in that?

If I were this guy, I wouldn’t beat myself up too bad, though. He may have lost out on a life-changing sum of money, but just think about the smiles on those kids’ faces when they open those new textbooks. You can’t put a price on a feeling like that. Oh wait, you can. That feeling’s worth exactly $1,098,624. Sucks to suck, bro.
