Ravens Sign Will Hill To 2-Year Contract

It hasn’t been reported yet how much money Will Hill has signed for, but knowing Ozzie Newsome, I’m sure it’s a fair deal for both parties. I like this move a lot for the Ravens, despite Hill’s well-known reputation for being a knucklehead. Hill’s somehow managed to get suspended for a whopping 14 games over his three-year career. I guess the Ravens believe that they can provide the leadership to keep the 25-year-old safety out of trouble. While it’s valid to have off-field concerns about Hill, there’s no debate that he’s a playmaker between the sidelines. Hill was pretty much the only bright spot in the Ravens’ depleted secondary last season. In 10 games with the Ravens, Hill made 47 total tackles and returned his lone interception for a touchdown. In Ozzie we trust.
