Ravens have agreed to a three-year deal to bring back safety Lardarius Webb.

There were whispers of this move on Thursday, and it appears to now be official.
I loved when the Ravens replaced Lardarius Webb with the younger and better Tony Jefferson earlier this offseason, and I also loved when the Ravens cut Lardarius Webb, not because I wanted to see Webb go, but because his contract ate up way too much cap room, and it was the right move. And now that the Ravens have fixed their starting secondary, I love them adding depth by bringing back Lardarius Webb. And I’m not being a homer by praising everything the Ravens have done this offseason in their secondary, it’s just that they’re making all the right moves. They cleared up cap room by cutting Webb, they signed players to a position of great need with safety Jefferson and cornerback Brandon Carr, and they added veteran depth by re-signing Webb on a more team friendly salary. Check, check, and check. Well done Ozzie.
