We have reached a 4-year agreement with CB Brandon Carr.

It was reported earlier this week that the Ravens and CB Morris Caiborne were close to a deal, but there was never an announcement made, so it looks like the Ravens have opted for fellow Cowboys corner Brandon Carr instead. Carr may not be the corner he once was, as he’s been in the league nine years, but he still was a starter for PFF’s best ranked secondary this past season. Solid signing for the Ravens.
Carr has never missed a game in his NFL career, and his durability may be his best asset, especially with how injury prone Jimmy Smith can be. The move also lets Tavon Young move to the nickel where he should be.
