Owen Daniels Signs With Broncos

Owen Daniels has spent his entire career with Gary Kubiak, so it’s not surprising to see him heading to Denver. This is especially true with Julius Thomas signing with the Jaguars. With Dennis Pitta’s health up in the air, it would’ve been nice if the Ravens were able to bring back Daniels. Daniels is a solid veteran who would’ve provided some stability to the position if Pitta is unable to play. He’s also 32 years old, hasn’t played a full season since 2008, and dropped a touchdown pass late in the AFC Divisional Playoff against New England. So yeah, I’m not too butthurt about the departure of Daniels. He’s a good player, but one that I think the Ravens should be able to replace. Hopefully, Pitta returns and/or Crockett Gillmore makes some strides in his sophomore campaign. Not only would a productive year from Gillmore benefit the Ravens, but it’d also give me the opportunity to yell this more frequently, which I’d deeply appreciate.
