Old Cubs Fan Had A Catch, Deke, & Throw For The Ages

First off, Mark Reynolds homers still bring a smile to my face. Congrats on number 20, Sheriff. But man, oh man, what a grab. I thought I was watching mid-’90s Griffey for a second there. Mike Pullin put on a defensive clinic with that full extension, scaling the fence catch. And you gotta love his passion to risk life and limb for a souvenir. Then, not only was he smart enough to bring a decoy ball to toss back on the field to satisfy the other Cubs fans. He sneaks that phony ball into his hand like a master magician, and fires that shit back on the field like Henry Rowengartner. Talk about keeping your head on a fucking swivel. Way to be, Mike!
