First, there was the streak-inspired Heavy Seas beer, and now, Old Bay is honoring the Iron Man. What a time to be alive. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Cal Ripken, Jr. breaking Lou Gehrig’s streak of consecutive games played, Old Bay has made these awesome limited edition cans. Starting Monday, August 17, these majestic beauties will be available in stores across the Mid-Atlantic region. There will only be 48,000 cans made, so you might need the same grit and determination that Ripken displayed on the field to grab yourself one. The cherry on top of this Maryland pride sundae is that a portion of sales will go to the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation. People helping people.
