When Breshad Perriman was shown on the jumbotron at M & T Bank Stadium during yesterday’s game against the Colts, the crowd let out a sarcastic cheer, mocking Perriman for the poor start to his career. The cheers happened again after he made both of his catches as well.

When asked about the fans’ behavior after the game, fellow WR Mike Wallace had a few words to say about it.

Mike Wallace took the words right out of my mouth. Breshad Perriman has had a terrible career so far, and will likely never be an impact player for the Ravens, despite having all the tools to do so. But he seems like a solid dude, and there’s no one alive that’s more disappointed in his sub-par receiving stats that he is. This isn’t a situation where the player came in after getting drafted and sucked cause he just didn’t give a fuck. Despite the lack of results, Perriman is at least working hard. We’re better than that as a fan base than to openly mock a player who is giving us his all.
