Mel Kiper Jr.’s First Mock Draft Is Out, And It’s Safe To Say Ravens Fans Will Be Disappointed

Well if there’s one thing we can be sure about the Ravens, it’s that they need help at just about every position on the offense, including at Tackle. But can you imagine the uproar in Baltimore if the Ravens take a lineman in the first round for the second time in three years, when this team is so clearly hurting for playmakers?

Most fans won’t be happy unless the Ravens get a playmaking wide receiver in the first round, with many people zeroing in on Calvin Ridley from Alabama, who Kizer has going several picks before the Ravens, or Christian Kirk from Texas A&M, who in this scenario, would still be available.

Personally, I’ll be really really really disappointed if the Ravens don’t use their first round pick on a playmaker, whatever that position may be, however it’s clear that WR is the biggest need. However, if the Ravens don’t feel that there’s a guy at pick 16 that could be that player, it clearly wouldn’t make sense just to draft one to please the fan base. But the Ravens have essentially zero talent at skill positions, and it will be a very rough time in Baltimore if the Ravens yet again fail to get top level talent in the 2018 draft.
