Mel Kiper Jr. Released His First Mock Draft For 2017, Has Ravens Selecting Heisman Finalist

The first day of the NFL Draft is one of my favorite days of the year, and I have no idea why. Most of the guys taken are going to be busts, but there’s that initial excitement that the draft allows for that just gives me some offseason excitement for football.

Baltimore’s Mel Kiper Jr releases about a million mock drafts leading up to the NFL draft each year, and his first one for 2017 was released today.

My dream scenario would be that the Ravens come away with WR Mike Williams out of Clemson, but let’s be honest, that’ll never happen. Wide Receivers like him aren’t an every day find, and because of that he’ll be a sure top ten pick.

But Jabrill Peppers is a straight up baller. He can play basically every position on the football field, and is the definition of a true athlete. There are positions I’d like to see the Ravens address before safety, but at the end of the day if the Ravens can improve their secondary through the draft, I’ll take it.
