I will be the first to admit,  I find myself glancing at my phone while driving. It is mostly when I’m sitting at a red light, which ultimately results in a honk followed by a middle finger in my rearview. It is stupid, and results in driving your car into a lake.

The Charles County Sherriff’s Office says a woman drove her car into a Waldorf, Maryland lake, as a result of texting. The 25 year old Temple Hills woman was texting when she lost control and hit a tree. After the tree, the vehicle swerved off the road and was propelled 60 feet into Westfield Lake. Fortunately for her, she was able to escape through the window unscathed. Police plan on charging the woman with a crime.
