Madison Bumgarner’s World Series MVP Award Presentation Was Hilariously Awkward

Madison Bumgarner lead the Giants to a World Series title, and earned the MVP award after delivering a performance for the ages. Bumgarner’s stat line for the World Series was as follows: 2 W, 1 SV, 21 IP, 9 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, and 17 Ks. This included five innings of shutout relief pitching in a do-or-die Game 7 on two days rest. It was a historically dominant display by Bumgarner. While the bright lights didn’t bother Bumgarner in the slightest, they did seem to have an effect on Chevy’s Regional Zone Manager Rikk Wilde. Watch poor Rikk stumble and stutter through his presentation.

Breathe, big fella, breathe. Did someone tell Rikk that he had to step in the box against Bumgarner? Or was he a huge fan of The Chris Farley Show? Either way, I don’t think that Chevy will be asking Rikk to fulfill any speaking obligations any time soon. You knew that Rikk was having a tough time when Bud Selig acting confused as all fuck was only the second funniest thing in the video. But Rikk was able to bear down and get the job done. I mean, saying that a truck’s got “technology and stuff” definitely gets the attention of potential buyers at home. People don’t want to hear a bunch of scientific mumbo jumbo from some nerd. They wanna hear Rikk “The Wild Thing” Wilde break shit down in layman’s terms.
