Keith Olbermann Is Rightfully Sick Of Everyone Blowing Derek Jeter

Keith Olbermann has had enough of this nauseating farewell tour for Derek Jeter, and I couldn’t agree more. Jeter is a no doubt Hall of Famer, but people are acting like he’s a combination of Babe Ruth and Jesus Christ. Over the course of his seven-minute monologue, Olbermann uses cold, hard statistics to show just how absurd this Jeter slurp fest has been. This is a player that’s never won an MVP, has the worst defensive WAR for a shortshop in the modern era, and has a career WAR of 72.1. For comparison, Albert Pujols, Chipper Jones, Adrian Beltre, Jim Thome, and Larry Walker all have higher career WARs than Jeter, while Scott Rolen has a career WAR of 70.

Hope you all enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed Zach Britton striking out Jeter on three straight pitchers to secure last night’s win. 2uck2 to 2uck, Jeet2.
