Jonathan Papelbon Is A Giant Dickhead

With the O’s down 3-2 in the top of the 7th, Manny Machado stepped to the plate with two outs and a man on 3rd. On Max Scherzer’s 122nd pitch of the night, Machado did this…

It was Manny’s 30th home run of the season, and holy shit, did that ball get out of there in a hurry. With two outs in the top of the 9th, Machado made his first at-bat since launching his go-ahead homer, and Jonathan Papelbon saw a golden opportunity to prove for the 1000th time that he’s a colossal prick. Papelbon barely missed Manny’s head with a first pitch fastball, threw a breaking ball for a strike on his second pitch, and did this on his third pitch…

I hate this bush league nonsense. I’m guessing that Papelbon was upset over how Manny celebrated his home run, which is the biggest crybaby shit in baseball. Here’s a news flash: If you don’t like people celebrating homers, then pitch better, you fucking bums! It’s also one thing to hit a guy in the back, but throwing at someone’s head like that is as low as it gets. It’s such a reckless and despicable way to play. And speaking of despicable, how about Papelbon trying to plead his case that it was an accident? Gimme a fucking break, you scumbag. It was so obvious what he was doing, he might as well have announced his plans on the goddamn Jumbotron. I’m just baffled that the umpires didn’t make him go into the locker room. Not only is that the rule after an ejection, but it would’ve been much better for his own personal safety. That candy ass had no idea how close he was to catching a ruthless beating from the most dangerous tag team on the planet.

The Birds went on to win 4-3, and don’t look now, but they’re only four games back of the Astros for the second Wild Card spot in the AL. Fire up the fucking horns, babes!
