The Yankees have been eliminated, and we get to enjoy another World Series without the Yankees or the Red Sox in it.

Justin Verlander was the official ALCS MVP, and you can make a great argument that he deserved it. But I’ve got another candidate, and it’s this guy:

 

 

Wow, what a good luck charm. This guy’s the clear MVP of the ALCS. You just can’t lose with a 10th player in the stands. Playing 9-on-10 is unfair. The Yankees were down a man, and they were outmatched. Obviously not making excuses here, just stating fact.
