Everything I’ve ever believed about holding up signs at a show was a lie. There’s a 90% chance it’s annoying to those around you, but just maybe it will grab the right attention.

This past Tuesday, at the Foo Fighters show at the Universtiy of South Carolina, Pierce Edge (outstanding name) did just that. He held up a sign asking to play drums, and the Foo Fighters obliged.

JamBase Foo Fighters fan and University Of South Carolina student Pierce Tracy Edge attended the band’s Concrete & Gold tour stop at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina on Tuesday night. Pierce brought along a sign he held up all night asking to play drums for Foo Fighters on a cover of “Under Pressure” by Queen & David Bowie. Dave Grohl & Co. finally obliged towards the end of the evening and Pierce crushed his role behind the kit.
