At the end of the Duke game, when they were pretty much getting dominated by Oregon Thursday night, Oregon’s Dillon Brooks threw up a three that Duke took as running up the score.

I honestly don’t see it as running up the score, I just see it as a kid taking a shot just for shits and giggles, but I don’t know, maybe I’m biased because it was against Duke and I don’t care if you murder the entire Duke team. But no matter what, I don’t think anyone could really turn this into a big deal. Except Coach K, who, according to Dillon Brooks, took it upon himself to try to educate Brooks of the proper code of conduct when winning big.
Dillon Brooks said Coach K told him in handshake line, “I’m too good of a player to be showing off at the end.” Brooks: “He’s right.”

But Coach K firmly denies this.
I don’t know who to believe, but i do know coaches and players don’t usually like to tell the media what was said out on the court. Whether Coach K said what Brooks reported him to have said is true or not, Coach K was obviously upset about it. But either way, how fucking lame is Coach K? Take a loss dude. Stop trying to be the police of the NCAA and just take a fucking loss like everyone else. The kid threw up a long three with the clock winding down just because he could. Get over it.
Grayson Allen didn’t like it either.
Wouldn’t expect much different from a serial tripper.
Just a fuckboy team with a fuckboy head coach. Never change Duke.
