Dogfish Head Set To Release Breakfast Beer Brewed With Maple Syrup And Scrapple

Dogfish Head’s latest stout, Beer for Breakfast, is literally brewed with scrapple. You know, scrapple, all the fun parts of a pig(nipples/liver/heart/pig dick/the good stuff etc.) mashed together into a breakfast loaf. If scrapple isn’t enough, the beer’s ingredients also feature coffee, and maple syrup. Beer for Breakfast is a 7.4 ABV stout, and set to be rereleased on November 7th.

A stout tricked out with all sorts of breakfast ingredients including Guatemalan Antigua cold press coffee, Maple syrup harvested from Western Massachusetts and for the quintessential Delaware breakfast touch – Rapa Scrapple and their secret blend of spices.

I like to enjoy a nice breakfast after a night of drinking, so this is hurting my brain. Although I’ve never bum rushed a kitchen for some scrapple, I must admit I’m intrigued to try this beer. Update will follow.
