That was St. Thomas using a highly unorthodox fake PAT against Carleton. I can’t believe that shit actually worked. That pass looked more like an alley-oop that you’d see during NBA All-Star Weekend than a football play. Surprisingly, this was only the second most embarrassing thing to happen to Carleton last Saturday, as St. Thomas beat them 80-3. Pulling out trick plays like that against such an overmatched opponent is ruthless. It’s like smashing an ant with a goddamn sledgehammer.
