China Lands Their First Rover On The Moon. That’s So 1969.

Hey China, welcome to the late 1960’s!  The Chinese announced that they have successfully landed an unmanned probe, or “rover”, on the moon today.  They are the third country to accomplish this feat.  The Soviets and the United States were doing this back in the ’50s and 60’s and the U.S. landed people on the moon in 1969-  44 years ago.  To put this in perspective, in 1969 Nixon was President, the Beatles were photographed crossing Abbey Road, and Willie Mays hit his 600th home run.  I wonder if bell bottoms and tie dye are all the rage in Beijing right now.

Meanwhile, we owe these guys money?
