Breshad Perriman Is Out Indefinitely After Getting Knee Surgery

I’m putting 100% of the blame for this news on Seabass. Last night, he wrote a blog complaining about the Ravens being secretive about the health of Breshad Perriman. Today, we find out that Perriman had to get knee surgery and is out indefinitely. Thanks a lot, Seabass. Haven’t you ever heard the phrase, “Ignorance is bliss?” The guy’s a damn mush.

But seriously, this is yet enough soul-crushing development in a season that’s been chock-full of them. The Ravens thought they were getting an immediate home run threat in the first round, but instead, they ended up with a guy who might not get on the field all season long. It’d be nice if Kamar Aiken, Marlon Brown, and/or Michael Campanaro could step up and take some of the pressure off Steve Smith, Sr., but I’m certainly not holding my breath on that happening. Get well soon, Breshad, and please don’t join the extensive group of Ravens receivers that turned out to be total busts.
