Well, the Orioles are officially desperate, as they’ve signed Big Game Tommy Hunter back after he was released by the Indians last week. Hunter was actually having a decent year with the Tribe, with a 2-2 record and a 3.74 ERA out of the bullpen. He hasn’t pitched in the major leagues since July 9th, however, after falling at his house and having a non-displaced fracture in his back.

Well, Birdland, it looks like we’ve hit a new low for the year. It’s like Dan Duquette figured the whole Steve Pearce thing didn’t work out so why not try another former Oriole with little to offer. Fuck it, bring back Felix Pie while we’re at it.

I’m a fan of Tommy Hunter the guy, but I don’t think he can really help this team. Plus he has no options left, so the bullpen is left with not much flexibility with Hunter.
