Ben Roethlisberger Is Ducking The Ravens Again

Ben Roethlisberger will be taking his annual injury leave of absence, this time for a knee injury with an approximate 4-6 week recovery time.

And 4-6 weeks means he will not be ready to play for the Steelers’ November 6th matchup against the Ravens. The guy literally dodges playing Baltimore at least once a year. And he’ll probably try to come back a week earlier than doctors recommend so he can look like a hero and everyone can blow his dick for it. I’m not fooled. Not sure anyone’s ever loved playing the role of the heroic quarterback who comes back early from injury more than Roethlisberger.

Roethlisberger’s hero quote: “Doc says my knee looked good, but there still was some stuff in there from when I had my bone bruise last season in St. Louis. He said that might keep me out a little longer than just a simple meniscus tear. Maybe an extra week or so. But there’s no way to put an exact timetable on it. It all depends on my pain and how I feel. I’m icing and elevating as we speak.”

What a fucking guy.
