At least five drivers who found themselves in a seven-car pile-up in Georgia Friday morning were driving drunk and another may still be charged, Clayton County officials say. A pedestrian walked onto I-75 near the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 3 a.m., Clayton County Police spokeswoman Danielle Rosa told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. A vehicle hit the pedestrian, setting off a chain reaction that ended in a seven-car pile-up that blocked all southbound lanes for hours. “Luckily, nobody was killed,” Rosa told the paper. Several people, including the pedestrian, were injured, according to CBS Atlanta.  [Huff Post]

Granted it’s a small sample size, but it looks like everybody’s fucked up on the road in Atlanta at 3 a.m. The DUI total will be six when the police charge the driver that went to the hospital.  That’s 6 out of 7 drivers, an 86% clip.  The shitty part is that the guy who caused the whole thing is simply going to be charged with “pedestrian in roadway”.  I didn’t go to law school, but that doesn’t sound like a felony to me.  I wonder what the drunk percentage would be on Northbound  I-83 on Friday night at 3 a.m.  Anybody wanna play human Frogger  next weekend?

This asshole played real life Frogger with a car.
